Comments: The memories we have from when we’re growing up are often some of the most powerful memories we carry for our entire lives. These memories become our personal mythology and anything associated with this time can resonates with us on such a visceral level that it can set of a chain reaction of nostalgia.

One of the biggest triggers of this type of tumbling-domino-effect of remembrance can be Music. A certain song or a certain artist will often define a whole period of our lives and that connection can be so strong that it completely alters our behavior

Al Millar sat down with Peter Panic to talk shop and we’ll be releasing the bulk of that conversation in another episode, but during the chat, Peter told the story of meeting his personal hero Bruce Springsteen and we couldn’t resist releasing it as it’s own short story episode.

back-stage

Heineken was doing a promo backstage for all the guests where they take your photo and put it on a postcard and giving away free beer! This was the postcard we got! Unfortunately I don’t have one with Bruce from this concert because Peter had to go and get all Fan-Crazy!

02-back-stageHere’s another shot of me and Bruce back-stage. This one was taken backstage in Boston at TD Garden when Springsteen came through in 2005.

03-back-stage

This one was taken in Cork, Ireland in 2013. I took Magic Brian, Shay Horay, Shell Holden and Meg Fortune from the SPWC that time around and we all got to hang backstage with “The Boss!”

And thanks again to: Dolphin Creative for sponsoring this episode!
